Imagine for a moment that you were a really good electro chemist, that
you had enough money to allow you to do applied research on battery
technology, you had an invention that improved energy density for
batteries, and that you were also somewhat knowledgeable as an
entrepreneur. So you have this...

this could be caused by flying?

Vernier throttle cables by
n9723x
I'm still flying my old C210B around that has a vernier throttle
cable. It's time to replace it, and it seems I can only find a
friction lock cable to replace it with. The dealer said that the FAA
"outlawed" vernier throttle cales due to safety reasons.. Is this
true????

Jim Pennino or...Jim Pinheado? by

There is a poster here called Jim Pennino, but in

He will take everything you say and dispute it.
EVERYTHING. When you prove him wrong, he...

Hello everyone. I'm preparing a mock press conference for one of my college classes. In my particular scenario, I am the public relations head of a top international airliner.
Three hours into the flight, one of our planes was involved in a mid-air collision (whether it was with another aircraft...

Airplane prices are ridiculous, Pt.2 by
Mark
Within any given economy you will find
these two: 1) Price takers and 2) Price
makers.
Price takers are the sellers who must charge
within a specific range due to supply and
demand. Their prices will be set to be
compatible with the other sellers or else the
buyers will simply go to a...

A GAMA document on the historical price of airplanes by
Jim Logajan
I was pretty sure that I'd seen somewhere that the price of typical
general aviation airplanes were, relative to median annual income, about
the same ratio as they had always been. I'm still not sure whether that
is true, but according to GAMA, another number, the historical price of
4 seat entry...
