Update on Denver plane crash... by
Sam
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/3399604/detail.html
1)Looks like somebody either told them of the stall (whether it was my
email or not) and they corrected the article. Sounds like they
misquoted the flight sim tech as I had thought.
2)What an unfortunate and strange crash. The ink must've...

Phoenix Pilot
Couple questions as it pertains to logging time.
1) What is a way that a person can log time (and what type of time)
sitting right seat in an aircraft certified for single pilot ops?
2) Can a person log the time spent right seat in a pressurized
aircraft without having a High Altitude...

China to supply parts for 7E7 by
John Fitzpatrick
Just read in the paper, that china has landed a deal deal with Beoing, to
supply parts for the 7E7 including the rudder assemblies. That ought to
inspire a lot of confidence in the plane, though I'm sure China will use
their finest slave labor technology.

Almost saw someone crash by
Viperdoc
Yesterday the weather was miserable. There were low ceilings and a line of
strong thunderstorms that ran diagonally across the state. The preflight
briefing and a look at the radar indicated that an early departure would get
me to the destination ahead of the storms. I took my Baron (radar...

MSNBC Sucks ! by

I have to vent..
Was anybody else trying to watch the coverage of the d-day ceremonies ?
MSNBC is supposedly covering the d day ceremonies in France. The focus

Question Medical by
Captain Wubba
Howdy. I'm currently having a problem with the FAA Medical Division.
The situation is as follows. I have a minor endocrine disorder that is
easily managed by a medication that is already FAA-approved. Neither
the disorder nor the medication has *any* side effects that could
remotely impact flying,...

Yield signs in the pattern by
Michael 182
Just an idea. Landed at Longmont 2V2 today and some jerk transitioned the
pattern 100 feet above pattern altitude. Came up on my six o'clock - never
saw him until he was filling my windshield.
Just one more reminder to keep the head on a swivel...

Best airport to land at for Vancouver by
Robert M. Gary
I'm planning a flight up North and wonder where the best place to land
is. CYVR seems like it may just serve the bigger guys and the FBOs may
not be friendly to GA.

ILS reception question by
gatt
Anybody ever seen intermittent ILS localizer reception during multiple
missed approaches?
What causes that?
Was doing ILS localizer and back course approaches at McNary (Salem) last
night in solid IMC. That was a blast, until the third approach. We hit the
intersection at the right altitude, but...
