We've got a couple of new additions to the Rec.Aviation Rogue's Gallery

Best Single Pilot IFR Plane by
Charles Talleyrand
There must be people on the newsgroup that fly single pilot
IFR on a regular basis. These people have a schedule to make
and would rather not miss that schedule unless necessary. These people
don't have the need to carry many passengers, but just themselves.
My question is for these people...

2004 Registration by
PaulaJay1
I just got the bill from the State of Ohio for the registration of my Archer,
N2185B. Seems they need more money so the bill went from $12 (2003) to $100
(2004). Can't believe the % increase but it's true. What do other states
charge? Is Ohio now out of line or were we underpaying before?

Had a potentially bad experience in my Archer tonight. Wife and I flew to
dinner and returned to the home port about 5:20. Airport normally is open till
sunset (which is 5:07 tonight) but as we taxied in, the lights in their cars
went out and they came walking to my plane. I store in the big...

Navions by
Tri Pacer Pilot
I currently have a 150hp Piper TriPacer that I've upgraded pretty well but
I'm beginning to feel the need for a larger airplane. Not necessarily a
huge step up in speed and range but more in room and stability. It's hard
to fit two larger fellows into a TriPacer even if the weight isn't...

Pre-heating by
Charles Talleyrand
Our FBO (who are otherwise OK people) have a new policy. They will not
allow one to leave one's airplane's preheater plugged in continously. Instead, one must call them ahead of time and they will plug
it in for you. They charge $10 for this
service.
My questions are this: How long does it...

Banner Towing Information ? by
ForFun177
I currently own 3 early model Cessna 182's (2 182A's, 1 182B) I'm interested in
having one or two of them set up to tow banners. They are currently jump
planes, and I'd like to use them part time to advertise my business. Can anyone
point me to a company that makes the tow hooks for the 182's, and...

Turbo Normalised Bonanza F33A by
Geoff Semler
I am looking at buying a F33A which is turbonormalised. Does anyone have
any knowledge about the value this adds to the aircraft. I know the cost of
fitting but this one was done in 1991, and it is the original turbo. How
much does it add to the value of the basic aircraft?
TIA
