hey all had a quick question. I am trying to figure out what the main cause of a 20 amp generator fuse blowing would be. I personally feel it is the regulator that has gone bad as it is a 1959 cessna 150. (20 amp generator equiped) The battery is fine, it just pops the fuse. It takes a charge it...

socalled ''progress'' by Peter Lucas[_2_]
Im not sexist but the average aussie soldier carrys about 30 Kilogrammes of gear on them. they also have to be able to run 5 kilometers in less then 20 minutes. Do you REALLY think an average woman can do that? Also in hand to hand combat who would have a realistic advantage? A male soldier, or a...

FAA final rule: Aircraft registrations now good for only 3 years by Alpha Propellerhead
Commercial airlines see private pilots as obstacles to their own business, so they will consistently lobby in favor of airlines and against private pilots. Over time, inevitably, private flight will wither and die. "Commercial airlines" is a redundancy. All commercial pilots started as...

I am looking for an a/c, my first, to complete my training and to use for recreational flying. I am looking at 172s and a book I recently acquired (The Cessna 172 by Bill Clarke) suggests that this engine is to be avoided. Tomahawk, a good buy? by Chrisdt
I recently saw a Piper Tomahawk on bidbuyandfly.com selling for 110 000 ZAR, or more or less $16000 US. I have 72 hours in total, 42 of them on a 152. How does the Tomahawk compare? I have heard a lot of stories about the Piper Tomahawk. Would this be a good buy for the price advertised?
