twin boom pusher design/prototype for sale on ebay by
rich a.
Search on ebay for item number : 4533523478 Anyone know the name of
the "famous designer" refered to? The performance claims seem
unrealistic at best. I doubt even the short wing version will reach
237 mph.....unless in a full power straight down dive. Just my
opinion.

Fuel-Injected Continental O-200 by
Calvin R. Walker
Has anyone put a fuel-injection system on an O-200? If so, what are the
results? You're probably wondering why. I was just curious about doing
this.

Testing Stick Ribs by

The rib is supported upside down by a jig simulating the wing spars.
The load, consisting of a single mass suitably divided by balance
beams, is applied to the upper edge of the rib (as positioned in the
jig), distributed by pallets of wood as needed to prevent...

Anybody got a real good reason not to use:
FRS Channel 3 (no PL) for around the field (we found it to be the least crowded
of the channels last year, but if I catch one more kid screaming obscenities
into their little radios...).

Can someone ID this airplane?
http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1093439/
No, not the gyro in front of it, the plane behind the gyro with the
twin boon. Three brownie point to the first enthusiast able to ID
this plane.
Thanks,

Instrument mounting question by
Rob Turk
I'm looking for some guidance on safely mounting instruments in an alumimium
panel. Our panel is about 2mm (about 1/12th inch) thick. We had all the
shapes laser cut, so everything fits well.
What do most of you do with deep, heavy instruments like a gyro? Is it safe
to just use the screws on the...

this will no dought hold together, it only calls for 1 diagnal brace on
each wing. I glued temperary

Space slingshot was: Space Elevator by

Hi everyone.
This is an extremely interesting thread, and I have been reading avidly.
As a glider pilot, based in the U.K (not that my location makes the blindest
bit of difference), I am reasonably familiar with the process of using a
cable to get airborne, whether behind another aircraft (the...
