Panels for the Parhelia (formerly "Not much here") by
Warren
Quilljar
As promised I have prepared a webpage illustrating the two routes for 2D
panels using the Parhelia - Please note that both require some work on
them. Where a Virtual cockpit is supplied with the aircraft, then that
is the preferred route: but this can be difficult in phases of flying
such...

Matrox by
boB
Thanks all for the advice. I'll look into the Matrox web site. I have
been doing some experimenting with using my 2 monitors as a flight
screen. If I use the 19" for the fwd view with an undocked window
showing fwd/left view on the left monitor it does give an acceptable
view out the left side....

Parhelia Pilots by
Quilljar
A couple of us are suggesting that those who use the Matrox Parhelia with
either two or three screens might like to congregate on
rec.aviation.simulators to exchange information and tips. This is a
newsgroup that has been getting very quiet recently and we hope to jerk it
back into life. We thought...

Not much here by
Quilljar
I have been monitoring this news group for about two years now and it has
gradually dried up. I will say again, you will get much more help at
alt.games.microsoft.flight-sims. This applies whether you are using a
microsoft sim or not, or even if you are a real life pilot. You will...

Simulation Rate in FS2004 by
RobertS975
One can change the simulation rate quite easily in FS02 by clicking + or - on
the clock. How does one do this in FS04 without going to the menu bar options?

What's the best OS for FSim? by
[email protected]
I have some progs which will only work with Win98se and others which
only work with XPpro. Since I use both OS is there a preference, when
using Flight simulator 2004, to achieve best performance?
Thanks,

Scenery question about photo type files by
Owleyes
First - I apologise for this question as I am inexperienced in making
scenery files for FS. I have seen scenery files (such as in Lago) in
which the object is a flat (one demensional) photo of a person which
can be placed anywhere. What kind of files are these and how does one
go about making a...

Value of rudder for MS Flight Simulator by
Darrell Criswell
How important is the rudder to making Flight Simulator a realistic
experience. I want to use MS FS to assist me in taking flying
lessons. I wonder if the rudder will make the training more realistic
or does it really matter.
Thanks

Good joystick for MS FS2004? by
Andrei Dumitrescu
Hi folks,
To my greatest surprise, my girlfriend got me the Flight Simulator
2004 for Christmas. Though I didn't touch one for years, I've always
loved flight sims and was eager to try out this one - only to find out
that it's a real downer with only the keyboard and mouse. I'm looking
now for a...

Beware of PMDG!!!!!! by
JJ
I recently got a PMDG 737 - 600/700. I never functioned correctly, and
I wrote the customer service department. No replies for my requests for
help. I finally got hold of the PMDG bigwig, and he is a real Asshole!
So don't buy anything from PMDG. They do not provide help with
problems, and only...

Problems tuning nav radios by
cm
In two of my aircraft in fs2002 pro, I have problems tuning my nav
radios. The King Air won't let me tune my ADF to the right of the
decimal point, and I can't tune either nav radio on my BAe 146. Is
there a way of sorting this out? Is there a config file I can alter and
if so what do I do?
Any...
