Video and Memory Card upgrade? by
Dave Schwartz
I have a Dell, with a Pentium 4, 1.6 GHz, 256 MB of RAM and a 64 MB NVIDIA
GeForce 2 MX with TV out video card. I bought FS 2004 and it doesn't seem
great. Should I upgrade the video card and memory, and if so, what would be
your suggestions?

Alligator Shoes
An Army Ranger was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana and he wanted a
pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way, but was very reluctant to
pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.
After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of...

more off topic stuff.
A couple of A-10's are escorting a C-130 Hercules and their pilots were
chatting with the pilot of the transport to pass the time. Talk fell on
the subject of relative merits of their respective aircraft with the
fighter pilots holding their planes were better because of...

Migration to XP pro and Simulators, Help! by
JRC
I'm slowly moving everything to XP Pro SP-1, due to MS-es non-support
of Win98. I've upgraded still to all available patches since this
late , OS was released.
The first problems I've discovered with using sim apps on it was that
IL-2 absolutely would not run. Even with everything else shut...

All feedback stick users....read this! by
FaxCap
Hi All
I bought a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 stick about 5 months ago.
On the whole I was very disappointed with it especially with FS2004.
I had e:mail contact with the MS FS2004 team which lead nowhere.
Then I heard from a fellow who was writing a program to control force
feedback sticks. Not...

Scenery Library-FS 2004 by
Dave Schwartz
I don't really understand the concept of the scenery library. I haven't
added any scenery to the program. Do I just leave it as it is or do I have
to change the order if I want to fly over Europe or Africa instead of the
US? Also, I can't seem to find the Library any more. Help says go...

The Verdict on FS2004? by
Wayne M.
Before I make the jump from FS2002, could I get some feedback on whether you
think it's a good idea?
I've put a lot of time and energy into my AI Aircraft and wonder if they
will work as well in 2004.
I've also heard some horror stories about 2004's frame rates, start up
problems, etc.
So anything...

learning curve in fs 2002.. by
David Ciemny
Hi all..just loaded our first flight sim (fs 2002). Seems like a steep
learning curve. Picked up other sims so I imagine it will take some time.
Taking my first flight I missed the runway altogether attempting to land.
Wish me luck..

Real GPS data into Flight sim 9. by
Brian Heiland
Has anyone been able to take actual GPS track data from a Garmin GPS, and
converted it to a replay file in FS 2004?
I realize that the GPS data would not include any pitch or bank information,
but it would have heading information, and position information.
Is the replay file format of Flight sim...

What is the idea of censoring on the group?
You censor worrybird and angus lopper and vincent dubois but not underground
with the christina aguilera nude stuff. What is that all about?
Mr. or Mrs. Censor...Please back off and let the group speak. You don't
need to be so judgemental.
Thanking...
