AAR [After Action Report] by
Dr. Anthony J. Lomenzo
BTW, I only put these things out not for rehash purposes for those
folks that already know but I would suspect that RAS has a decent size
lurker audience too. So too, I re-visit RAS periodically just to keep up
on what's happening in the sim hobby which I continue to enjoy
thoroughly. Hey, with the...

FSCOF 2d panels gone by
Mongo
I'm using a GeForce FX 5200 video card, and have already installed the 44.67
NVidia drivers, but still have no panels... just a black rectangle.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

never mind by
JasonSJbird
I solved the Beechjet 400 download problem on my own. Turns out it must be
something with my mousedriver. If a breeze so much as swipes it, it will kill
the download from eaglesoft. Last night I surfed and downloaded the jet at 2am
when there was likely to be low U.S. traffic. Took two hrs and I...

Mmm
Interesting.
Can you put the instruments on just the center screen or do you end up with
a stretched instrument panel?

A few thoughts on Flight Sims by
Don Parker
David,
Go to www.flypfc.com and take your checkbook!
I gave up on the plastic stuff several years ago. You pay, but you ENJOY
the hell out of it, and it's built to last forever (lifetime warranty)!! Or
at least until technology leaves you in the dust, I recently had to go to a
DB-15/USB converter...

online servers for 2004? by
Marco Rispoli
Does anyone know if there is an online game service like hyperhwy for FS
2004? (http://www.hyperhwy.com/navaid/airtrafficcontrol.html)
I never actually flew on it but I would be interested in trying some
close-to-reality ATC online game service with 2004 if there's one...

FS2k4 by
M
My earlier impression was that A Century of Flight wan't much better than
FS2K2. Now that I've used it for much of the afternoon, I changed my
opinion. It looks and runs better than my FS2K2. The only problem ( flaw )
is the color of the water textures. They are far too light for reality.

Update to the most current version for $89 or use as is. (I believe there
are no crucial differences in the newest version.) This bundle includes ATC
Scenarios and IFR flight training manual together with Elite
ver 6.1 Flight Simulator.
This simulator is the closest thing to flying, very smooth...

IFR flight in MSFS '98 questions by

OK, your patience please. I'm a very novice simmer.
I'm a pilot trying to clean more rust off her instrument
skills than I have flight time for, since the birth of my
daughter.
I'm trying to use MSFS '98 to fly instrument approaches.
My husband has it configured with CH products yoke and...

This software takes almost a 1/2 hour to install..and I have a pretty fast
system. I thought the installation would never end. The weather feature is
better but it is not too difrent from MSFS2K2. I also have had a hell of a
time using 2k2 planes in 2k4. The planes install but are not in...

Following some discussion on one of these NGs about how gadget minded so

strongly to you all a fairly new subscription magazine called

aspects of technology...
