Any alternative to Europa XS? by
Shin Gou
I am looking for a design with: 100-120hp engine, 600lbs plus useful
load AND the baggage room for the load capacity, 130miles plus
cruising speed. The useful load should be the real one already in use,
not on paper.
Seems Europa XS meets these requirement and can be much faster, though
the useful...

Murphy Rebel on trigear? by
Shin Gou
I wonder since the Elite is an upgrade of Rebel, can Rebel use Elite's
trigear kit? The factory's reply is NO because Elite's floor and
forward fuselage are redesigned to accept the nose wheel.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Elite's kit price is MUCH more
expensive than Rebel's so I doubt...

Scarf Joints by
Flyhighdave
I'm building an all wood airplane. The skin is 1/32, 1/16 & 1/8 plywood. Do the
scarf joints that are required to join the plywood together need to fall on the
underlying structure or can they be located where the plywood spans the
structural members? Thanks!

0200A Higher Compression Cylinders? by
Boelkowj
One of these days I will need to do a "top end" and wondering if higher
compression cylinders would be a way to go. That way I would feel more
comfortable using 100LL since my source of 80 octane is no longer available
here. Would I also expect a little more horse power? Thanks

Data for Wittman W8 Tailwind Builders. by
Stealth Pilot
I fly a very sweetly sorted out Tailwind.
I often get asked for details of some of the mods that the builder
used because they do make it a very practical aeroplane.
Some goading from a friend has seen me create a web thingummybob.

Xprize and tethered space station by
Ray Toews
I read an article about a theoretical tethered space station, where a
long cable was payed out from the surface and attached to a space
station, there are obvious technical problems to overcome but
notwithstanding them it makes sense in a logical way to attach an
object with a wire to a spinning...

Just in case anyone in this newsgroup is tempted to get involved with

he is not to be trusted. In fact he is a thief and a liar. If you want
to deal with him at least do so knowing that much about him. When I say
