Good post by BWB by
Flyingmonk[_1_]
He even mentioned a good friend of mine, Gil Armbruster, who also
perished flying his homebuilt Revolution Mini500.

Helicopters? by
Ol Shy & Bashful
I confess. I'm a rotor winged whore. In spite of the degredation of
this board and the slipping of standards, I keep hoping for things to
improve. Perhaps that is the mantra for a helicopter pilot?
Damn that just made me laugh. Maybe I am good for something after all?
Why has this NG gone south?...

Slow Flight by
w3n-a
http://w3n-a.blogspot.com/2008/11/slow-flight.html
Slow flight could be thought of, by some, as a speed that is less than
cruise. In pilot training and testing, however, slow flight is broken
down into two distinct elements: (1) the establishment, maintenance
of, and maneuvering of the airplane at...

Secondary Stall by
w3n-a
http://w3n-a.blogspot.com/2008/12/secondary-stall.html
This stall is called a secondary stall since it may occur after a
recovery from a preceding stall. It is caused by attempting to hasten
the completion of a stall recovery before the airplane has regained
sufficient flying speed. When this...

HOW MANY RAF2000's built and how many crashed? by
[email protected]
After reading a lot over the www about RAF gyros, I'd seen that many
of the accidents seem to be related to pilot error. I wondered if
anybody knew how many RAF2000 had been sold? I heard it was in the
neighbourhood of eight hundred or so kits. I was trying to make an
accident percentage based on...

P.I.O. problem by
[email protected]
I was making some soup and dumplins and just like rotorcraft flying I
got P.I.O. problem. You have to cook them with the lid on so the steam
will bake the dumplins. However trying to find just the right setting
on the old electric stove is not always easy. Turn the dial up to much
and it begins to...

Gyro PRECESSION by
[email protected]
I've been reading up on gyro precession as it refers to gyroplanes. It
seems that is not how a rotor disc works on a gyroplane. The info I've
found so far states that: a two blade rotor system doesn't tilt by
precession, but that it's entirely aerodynamic and uses vane (pitch?).
How does gyro...

Neo kit helicopter by
Hunter[_2_]
Anyone know the current status of the Neo helicopter kit by
youngcopter? This is German built kit that looks a lot like the MD
520N. Their web site has not been updated since June 2008 and I could
not find any info on the fight testing.

I do apologise for the intrusion... The subject of this posting is not
nice... But I have a good reason to ask for professional advice (and I
am neither a terrorist nor a common criminal):
One of the most notorious criminals of Greece, managed to escape

you trying to make? Please just...
