FMS type controls with FS98 by
Brokebob
Is there a driver that will allow a serial input from a RC transmitter to
control fs98? It is done all the time but the driver is usually located in the
main program file.

OLD fs5 aircraft? by
Brokebob
It is a strange story but I need some small, old fs5 addon planes. Surely they
are available somewhere!
A clue sure would be appreciated.

CH VPPRO/Pedals in DOS by
Brokebob
Don't ask why! Just need to use my console and pedals with FS 5.1 DOS only
machine. Seems like I did this years ago but can't remember (that's why) how I
did it.

I bought X-Plane and I want to share my experience by
Bruce Shankle
Dear fellow flight sim users,
I recently purchased X-Plane and had such an interesting experience that
I thought I'd share (see http://home.nc.rr.com/bshankle/xplane.html).
I am curious if any of you have had an experience anywhere close to mine?
Sincerely,
Bruce Shankle

Multi-Player Flying by
Bushmaster Guy
Hello, all. I'm fairly new to this group and have a question that this
group's members will likely be able to answer. I'm about to purchase a new
home computer and plan to run FS-COF on it. I plan to keep my old computer
and network the two machines. I'm currently running FS2002 on the old...

Here is an article I just read in BBC news from the UK about MS Simulator
shut down.
Job cuts ground Flight Simulator
The future of Microsoft's long running Flight Simulator series has been cast
into doubt, after the software maker US laid-off the entire development
team.

Childish people on this group by
C. Boxer
I thought this was a flight simulator chat group. It's become more like a
kindergarten out of control. It does seem that many of the troublemakers
are foreigners. Don't you have anything to do in those third world
countries? Get a grip.

New computer by
Cal Vanize
Building a new computer. FS 2004 will probably be the most onerous
application. System will use an Ath 64 3700 San Diego and at least 1 gb
of memory.
I might decide to use a 20+ inch monitor, so I would prefer something
that could run at least 1600 x 1200.
Any suggestions for an nVidia video...

more aircraft selection for FS2004 by
Cal Vanize
The basic selection of aircraft for FS2004 is... well, basic.
I managed to pick up a Zenth Zodiac XL.
I'm looking for other options, particularly higher performance
single-engine cruising airplanes. The Mooney is OK, but are there any
others available?
TIA,
