jpeters
I'm searching for any spare parts for the Briggs/Sperry Ball Turret used on the B-17 & B-24. My desire is to complete a static display with as many original parts as possible. This has turned into quite the task given the scarcity of parts out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Axis Products Citation HVLP Filter Change by
Andy[_7_]
I've been very satisfied with my 4-Stage Citation HVLP; however, a
rude surprise awaited when I ordered the $13.75 filter kit.
Upon seeing the Shipping and Handling costs for the first time on
their site -- it was a whopping $11.75 -- I closed my browser,
considered the order cancelled. No...

First Plane to Restore.... by
Steve
Right now, I am currently in school to get my AME licence. The college I am
at is looking to get rid of a Cessna AgWagon airframe (full control, partial
intrumentation, great condition). Since restoration is the niche I want to
get into, I was wondering if the AgWagon is a bit too complicated for...

Cessna 175A Cowl Mount Modification by
Clay[_2_]
Is it possible and practical to eliminate the standard cowl mount
brackets and attach the cowl to the fuselage with Cam Lock fasteners?
I would like to consider the CAM LOCK 4000 series (stainless with
phillips head)
Is there an STC for this modification for a C-175A?

GO-300 Gearbox Bearing Source? by

There is a lack of Continental GO-300 gearbox bearings.
I have heard of an outfit in California that can refurbish these

Someone told me something about an International Harvester bearing
which may work. The problem is it is not...
