Just Purchased X-Plane 7.0 version by
Sam
I saw This simulator being shown on Screen Savers and purchased it the
same day. For 50.00 I wanted to compare it to MSFS 2002. After flying
a while I can honestly say the flight Dynamics are much better in
X-plane and that this sim would be great for engineers wanting to try
out there ideas for...

Real GPS with flight simulator by
Sam Body
Is it possible to have a flight simulator (MS or X-plane) to send the
simulated position to the serial port (MNEA phrases) in such a way
that a real handheld GPS would show that sane position on it's screen.
This would enhance the learning experience a lot.
One could set the flight plan on the GPS...

Autopilot and ILS crashes 747 by
Sammy Yousef
Hi,
I'm relatively new to FS2004, and I'm just trying to learn to land the
747 using ILS and autopilot.
I've set up a flight where I'm just about to capture the glide path at
2000ft at Sydney airport. I have no problem capturing the glide path.
Alt switches off on the autopilot when I intercept....

Multiplayer Co-pilot FS9 by
Scet
I think it would be cool to be able to link up FS9 with a mate and "share
the same aircraft" so to speak. Have the ability to both be able to control
the aircraft and its systems. Doing a flight in one of the heavies and
having a co-pilot there as a resource to set radios, lower/raise the gear
and...

Virtual copilot by
Scet
Don't know if it's been mentioned before but if you change the virtual
copilot line in the FS2004.CFG file to =1 you recieve flying tips. ie power
up with out releasing brakes and he lets you know how, stuff like that. May
come in handy for some new players.

Flying around Adelaide Australia in the Robinson, I saw cows in a fenced in
area adjacent to a farm house. Anyone seen this or any other sorts of
animals?

Can anybody help me out here?
I did not install the docking system so that cannot be the problem.

Scissorfighter
Hey guys,
I'm putting my Fighterstick up for grabs, it's almost new but just
too big for me to grip comfortably. Take a look if you need a new
stick.

Right File, Wrong Directory? by

Hi Folks, I just joined the group (naturally with a problem). I know
how to fly but don't know computers at this level of sophistication. I
just bought a new PC and FS2004, but I when I tried some add-ons, I
didn't have a clue as to which file went into which folder. Is there a
source I can go to...

Best plane for.... by
sgmkevin
While perusing the "flight school" in FS'04 a thought struck me and
since this is a rarew happenstance I thought I should follow through
on it. I realized that I had made an ASS out of myself and ASSumed
that the plane used in the program (172) was the best aircraft to learn
in. Is this true? Is...
