There once was a Pastor named Dave
Renowned for the poetry he gave

his prose offended all,

rotax 583 vs. geo/metro engine by
[email protected]
hello
Does anyone know the power and weight comparison between a rotax
583 vs. geo/metro engine . When I said geo/metro I'm not too up on them
, so I suppose I'd be meaning the most powerful carburated one that is
non- turbo .
Thanks Ed

Magnetometer?? by
David Koehler
Greetings All,
does anyone have an operational magnetometer on their plane. I would like to
find out the distances from electrical wire and ferrous bolts and nuts. The
installation notes has wording like "As far as possible", "Not too close". I
thought for a second that I was talking to my Ex.... ...

.....as he put me into the cop car i said photons are harmless!
Hi, be very careful how you protect your home or loved things and ppl.
Setting up a security light could get you arrested. I did.
I have updated the pages, 1/4 down is perhaps the weirdest arrest in
canadian history.
I'm looking at 12...

Refinishing wooden prop by
Wallace Berry
I have an otherwise airworthy wooden prop that could use refinishing and
I'm seeking advice on how to do the refinish. What's the best way to
remove the old finish? Will strippers cause the prop to delaminate?
What's the best or most commonly used finish?
Thanks

Limbach or Stamo engine parts by
[email protected]
I'm curious if anyone has had experience getting parts for these
engines in the US? How difficult, how much time did it take and how
expensive? I'm specifically looking at their use in motorgliders (which
I'm actively looking for a Scheibe or Fournier, Vivat, or something
similar).
Regards,
Ryan...

cut off wheels by
brucerx
Does anyone know of a supplier of these? I bought 6 at Oshkosh and should
have got more. I'm looking for the thin ( 35/1000) 4 or 5 inch ones with
3/8 inch center. Avery and Cleveland have 3 inch diameter only. I use in
small die grinder for cutting small metal pieces.

Stuka in Maine by
Steve Foley
I was at the Internation Sea-Plane Fly-in last weekend in Greenville, Maine,
and saw what looked like a Stuka flying over the town and down the lake.
I got some blury pictures, so I know I didn't dream it. Anyone know anything
about this plane? I'd love to see it up close. It wasn't at the airport...

Don't get all excited.
We have two units that came in for fixing a year ago. Repeated attempts to

One each RST-521 Remote...

Another vendor gone - Ken Brock shutting down by

I just got an email from the Cozy list. Marie Brock is shutting down
Ken Brock Mfg after the first of the year. Apparently the buyer she
had lined up fell through. If you need any KB parts for your project
this is going to be your last chance.
This one hurts. KB did a lot of parts for me over...

An odd thing about CAD... by
[email protected]
(aside from blank messages :-)
I use DeltaCAD, a simple 2D replacement for the traditional T-square
and triangles, to make patterns for parts, from a 56" rib to itty-bitty
things for home-made clocks, tiny steam engines and similar stuff. And
I talk about it, too. If you hope to share...
