oil level effects oil pressure by Robert M. Gary
I've noticed that if I run my engine lower on oil than usual (but still well above the min) my pressure runs lower. I"m trying to understand how oil level effects oil pressure. If there is enough oil to hit the sump, wouldn't the pressure be uneffected? -Robert IO-360-A3B6 engine.

Bad new at GTU by Ronnie
We had a crash at GTU, Georgetown, TX yesterday. A Cessna 182 with 4 men on board crashed on takeoff off runway 11. The aircraft crashed just outside the airport boundary into a field with small oak, scrub and grass. It burned on impact. You certainly can't put much stock in the new reports,...

BPS Program on Daily winning out over pilots? by Roger
I may have missed something as I caught only a little of the PBS program due to the band opening and catching a bit from a station I don't normally get. It looked like they were making Daily out to be the environmentally friendly hero winning out over the pilots and turning the airport into the...

A+ for Mooney (M-18) Mite website by Montblack
I've seen quite a few airplane web pages over the years. I have to say, this Mooney (M-18) Mite site is one of the better ones I've seen. This site does many, many, many things right, IMHO. One very, very minor nit is ...the (very good) Photos/History page is one level down, in the Articles link....

Corporation or LLC as Owner? by robin
I own a 1963 Piper Cherokee 180. To reduce costs I am considering selling a share or leasing time in the aircraft to a very small number of folks. So that I sleep better at night I think it would make sense to transfer the owenership of the airplane to a corporation or California LLC. There appear...
