Great Name! Strange request...
I have heard of the need for a she-pee, especially in the context of a
light aircraft some distance from landing. A heavy aircraft would be one

Tired of having your photos rejected by those picky web sites? You
know who they are.
We have created a web site that has a "NO AVIATION PHOTO REJECTED"
policy.
As long as you keep it under 1200x1000 and it's aviation related. It's
approved.

where can you fly? by
Armitage Shanks
Hi,
Once you're a qualified private pilot, where can you/can't you fly?
For instance, say I spot an interesting cloud formation. Can I just
take off, fly up to it, ascend the vertical walls of the cloud and fly
through its troughs and valleys in exploration of a formation that
will only ever occur...

153A aviator question by
[email protected]
Hello
I am a 32 year old private fixed wing pilot. An army recruiter
promised to get me into Fort Rucker if I joined. Here is the problem -
after the boot camp I will still be an E3, to go to WOFT one must be an
E5 or better. Question-- can they put in my contract that I am going to
Fort Rucker...

Tuning In and Hot Take-Offs by

Thanks for the memories of the good old Texas sun ..
Maybe my memory has really faded but for the life of me I only remember the
Hiller Killer H23s and a very few of the new Hughes Mattel Toys.
If memory has not totally failed me the H23 had a button "Chinese hat" that
was 4 way and we used that...

I do apologise for the intrusion... The subject of this posting is not

4 types in 2 days by

I got the excellent opportunity to fly an EC120, AS350, Jet Ranger, and 407
all within a two day span. And the winner is: The Bell 407.
There are features I really like about the Eurocopters like their cabin
layout,
comfy seats, excellent maintenance access, and baggage storage areas.
However,...

Test to see if you should be a helicopter pilot by
B4RT
Try this test to see if you should really be a helicopter pilot:
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make
clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right
hand.
If your foot remains going clockwise you'll be...
