DG 400 and density altitude by gotovkotzepkoi
I am interested in how a DG 400 self launches at higher density altitude. For instance, an airport at 5000 ft on a warm day. Can anyone share their experiences on this?

Tow Plane Upsets...... by Walt Connelly
I have been towing for about two and a half years and have logged over 6,500 tows. Having recently experienced a couple of rather violent glider kiting incidents, one at about 300 feet AGL I decided to investigate the experiences of other tow pilots in these circumstances. I have spent several...

Tost reel system by Charles Longley
Due to the type of towing we do. My club (Evergreen Soaring) is considering putting the Tost reel system in one of our Pawnee's. I would like to hear everyone's experience on them pro or con. Not really looking for opinion from someone who hasn't operated with one. Thanks Charlie

Mylar replacement by Bojack J4
How often should the mylar be redone on a horizontal stab/elevator? The glider is always stored indoors in its trailer, and everything looks fine with the factory installed tapes, etc. There is sometimes a quiet air sound that changes pitch with elevator deflection especially when cold.

I purchased an L-23 a few months back. I hope to fly soon. It's still tucked away in the trailer. I purchased three wing stands from Wing & Wheels to assist with assembly. Are there any tips out there to make the process go smoothly? I moved the wings around when we did the annual & they're...

Anyone know if someone stocks Combi Tape here in the US? The "usual suspects" don't seem to. Want to finish up a project this coming weekend, so oversees isn't an option. Thanks in advance, Erik Mann
