I'm getting into XC flying and I would like to get opinions on the use of XCSoar for navigation. Is it useful, reliable, is it worth using etc? Thanks in advance.

I can't get XCSoar to display Baro altitude. The info box will display, but the baro altitude always shows 0. I'm pretty sure the Cambridge 302 is putting pressure altitude out in the NMEA stream. I haven't had much luck with the XCSoar Nabble forum lately. TIA Jim
