jokoch

BIG CVBG? Say it's all for offensive purpose and not for homeland
defence.
I think it equates well in terms of tonnage and man power, but how
about power...

737 MMA by
joelpac
Question for the naval aviators: How is the new 737 MMA going to perform as the
P-3s replacement? I know it's bigger, carries more "stuff" and whatnot, but
from what I know of jet engines (even high-bypass fans), won't it be very fuel
INefficient in the same regime as the P-3 prowls? Cruising...

747 engine takeoff power by
Gord Beaman
I have a question for anyone familiar with flying the 747-200.
According to news stories in the media reporting the crash of a
MK Airlines 747-200 freighter at Halifax Canada awhile ago, the
investigators found that the airspeed was some 55 kph low. It was
noted that the engines had been operated...

? about the F-4s-Threshold by
Pechs1
Okay, I know i flew the Phantom but I just don't know-
-Obviously 'B' models, -8 engine, did they ever fly the 'J' model with -10
engines?
-Did the B model they flew have a slotted stab?
-Saw they had aileron droop, I thought the 'B' model didn't have that, did they

Yep, flew...
