How long are our re packs good for? by
Viperdoc[_6_]
I saw in either Flying or AOPA Pilot that the FAA has passed the request so
that our chute packs are now good for 180 and not 120 days.
When does it take effect? Is my pack that just expired actually still good?
TIA

Andrew Boyd
Reposted from the IAC mailing list:
Both the U.S. pilot Kirby Chambliss and the French pilot, Matthieu Roulet
were allowed to refly their free. They had flown them in marginally high
winds after a thunderstorm Sunday evening. The pilot who followed them
had been called-back when winds were...

Discovery Wings Channel ??? by

Whatever happened to the EAA shows that were aired on Speedvision?
Was "Fom The Ground Up" shown on that channel? Seems like the EAA
could provide some programming. I always wanted a channel that would
just drive up and down the rows at Oshkosh, no commentary...

Pitts Screw Question by
VTflyer
I was planning on purchasing the Aircraft Spruce S2A hardware kit for an
S1C. I wanted to check and see if the sheet metal on the S2A is held
together with 10-32 screws as it is on my aircraft, a quick yes or no would
be all I need.
Thanks!

Hey, here is a link to an air race in Reno and it is incredible.
These pilots are amazing. Plus there is an Air Race game that you
should check out, it's a kick. Let me know what you think.

Aerobatics and children by
[email protected]
I've got a 6-year old son who's convinced he'll be a Blue Angel when he
grows up.
He's asked a number of times if we could go do aerobatics some time.
I think he's too young for it to be safe, but at what age might it
start to be appropriate? What types of things to I need to take...

Bill Denton
I have noticed that American Champion offers three different panel "types"
on the Super Decathlon:
No gyro instruments.
Vacuum gyro instruments.
Electric gyro instruments.
I have read that aerobatic work is extremely hard on vacuum gyro
