Airtex Interiors by
Dave
Looks we going with a complete new Airtex interior for our Warrior.
Has anybody here has any expirence with the "Duraplush" fabric? -
wear/staining/cleaning etc. Our Cessna had the "Duraweave" and it was
very rugged.
Also , any thoughts on painting the headliner? We will be using the
SEM...

Airvan aircraft by
John Pelchat
I was watching Discovery Wings when I saw a spot about the CAP
celebrating it's anniversary and I saw a scene with an Airvan in CAP
colors (lots of bright red and blue). I have seen nothing in the
aviation publications about this aircraft. Does anyone here know
anything about it beyond what is on...

AirVenture 2004 NOTAM now available by
EDR
This year's OSH NOTAM is now available for downloading from the EAA
website.
Also, they have stolen Col Weir's windscreen card idea, and are making
the various IFR/VFR/camping signs available for download.

Please add only items, no comments.
There are several catagories, Mandatory Airplane and Optional Airplane,
Camping Gear. Please keep items generic, the list will get too cluttered
with specifics.

Airventure get-togethers by
Morgans
How will us RAP's and ilk find each other's location, since no one knows
where they will be until they land?
Is there a message board in the north 40? Will anyone have internet
connections while there for the week, and what will the addresses be?
Questions, questions. I'm starting into planning...

Airway emergency - what would you have done. by
JJS
While flying between Gallup N.M. and Winslow, A.Z., my passenger
pulled out a peppermint candy, handed it to me and retrieved another
for herself. I popped mine in my mouth, took a gulp from my water
bottle and went back to enjoying the view. Shortly thereafter, my
passenger starts gagging. When...

Airway intersections on Sectionals -- info incomplete / inaccurate? by
Tman[_2_]
I've been paying attention to intersections a lot lately since I'm
looking at the IFR charts more.
Check this example out; Dial up the MSLIN intersection on your New York
section or skyvector.com.
Looking at that; I've always interpreted that picture as the MSLIN
intersection is at the...

Airworthness Reference by
Dan[_10_]
Help!
I'm looking for the reference that IAs use to determine if an airplane
is airworthy despite missing a cowling screw, having wing tip cracks,
or a missing piece of carpeting.
And no, it's not the a/c maintenance manual.
I've searched the FAA site, Google, GPO, etc.

AK32 Gold King Creek Air Force Station by

Has anyone here every flew to or by this place? It is about 30 miles
South of Fairbanks. I was flying around that area in MS FS 2004 and
noticed a runway on top of a small plateau in the middle of nowhere with
no other mountain terrain near by around. In FS 2004 it is 1000 ft tall
with just...

Al-Qaida targeted Western forests, memo says by
Mutts
http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0711forestterror11.html
"I thought about it a lot after 9/11," said Don Riddle, the law
enforcement officer for the Manti-LaSal National Forest in Utah. "How
hard would it be for someone to get in a small plane and fly over a
forest dropping fusees (flares)...
