C-172 versus Sundowner - epilogue by
[email protected]
Well, I went and kicked the tires on the Sundowner.
It is roomy and the two doors are a lot more convienient than the
single Piper door.
But, to make a long story short, the plane had extensive and recent
damage from a landing incident; prop strike, collapsed gear, one
wing, fuselage, and tail...

Old Composite Plane Appearance by
Charles Talleyrand
I think we all know what old aluminum planes look like. But what do
old composite planes look like? Are they less susceptible to hanger
rash and faded paint?

question for an AME by
Paul Anton
My wife has CAD and has had three stents placed in her heart. The surgery
was 2 1/2 years ago. She passed her last treadmill stress test with flying
colors.
What chance does she have---if any--of getting a third class medical?
Thanks

Best tug for a 3000lb SEP? by
Mike Murdock
I have an Aero-Tow 200 tug I use on my Cirrus SR22 (max gross weight 3,400
lbs). It works well, although it sometimes requires an extra push or pull
to get over door tracks.
This is an electric tug, and although it does not have a separate speed
control switch, it is easy to control the speed. ...

The "Mystery Vibration" saga in the 74 Cherokee 140 (O-320 -
