Lock On v1.12a patch installation problem by Anthony
Hi, Has anyone experienced problems running patch 1.12a over FC1.1? When attempting to launch Lock On WindowsXP crashes, causing the pc to auto-reboot. Rolling-back to v1.1 works o.k. again. Cheers.

FS2004 vs. Elite by HankPilot2002
I am getting ready to buy my first flight sim package and was wondering about the quality of FS2004 vs Elite. Is one package noticably better than the other ? I realize there is a huge price difference in the two. Any input you could provide would be appreciated. Hank

Newbie on X-plane, how to get info ? by Roger Messer
I've just got X-plane, and am wondering what would be the best way to learn how to use the thing. I need answers to questions such as: What are the various instruments on the control panels. Is there a 'hint' mode, where floating the mouse above an instrument can reveal its name and purpose? I...

Rolls-Royce powers ahead of GE Aircraft by NewsBOT
Rolls-Royce knocked its arch-rival, GE Aircraft Engines of the US, off top spot in the large civil aero-engine market for the first time last year. In terms of value, the UK engineer secured 40 per cent of the $13bn (£6.99bn) market last year for commercial engines powering aircraft bigger than...

Saitek stick/throttle....rudder issue by Wayne
Hey, This is a pretty good stick/throttle combination, but it causes a quirky behavior in that the aircraft rudder becomes very unstable on takeoff roll. It slips from side to side, making takeoff a real challange. I'm pretty new with this stick and would appreciate if anyone else having this...

good joystick/rudder/throttle choices for MS Flight Sim 2004 on XP by [email protected]
I'm looking around for good joystick/rudder/throttle combos for the MS FS 2004 that I finally installed on my HP Pentium 4 1.6 GHz Pavilion 760n running XP (that detail so you get a reference frame for what the system might support). So far I see among the higher-end stuff the CH products, and the...

new software by Viper
Will some one write some new flight sim software so I can go out and spend a ridulous amount of money to upgrade my 2.8 Ghz computer in order to run it. There is no incentive now to upgrade as my present box runs everything to my satisfaction. Remember the good ole days of software-hardware...
