map of santiago harbor, cuba by
old hoodoo
Does anyone know of where a good map of Santiago harbor (Cuba) could be
located?
So far all of the 1898 era maps seem fairly inaccurate and contradictory.
A modern map would work just as well for me, but I can't find even any
good commercial maps. I assume somewhere there might be some USAF...

me-208 by
old hoodoo
Does anyone have any pics or descriptions of the correct paint scheme
for a Me-208 (not 108 unless they had similar schemes) as used by the
Germans during the war years? Its my understanding that some 200 of the
tri gear 208's were used by the Germans during the war? The wing gear

NAS Miami WWII question by

Anyone familiar with NAS Miami during WWII? I am trying to
determine a naval location reference NAS Miami as "Pt. Affirm" I can't
find it on the net. Not sure if it is merely a local naval aviation
reference point, a swallowed up town, or a point of land.
Surely there are still some naval...

(OT) For Troops, Home Can Be Too Close by
Omega
This can be a problem. I get calls from friends talking about how the wife
or husband tends to be too much into small problems, that why can't they see
the "big picture"? Sometimes you do not want all the details when you call
back home.
The other problem is that when someone dies, the fellows...

What is Happening with T-34C's? by
ORVAL FAIRAIRN
I understand that the T-34C is now phased out of Naval service. I have
also heard rumors that the Navy, in their infinite wisdom, is going to
cut them all up, rather than sell them to willing civilian buyers.
Anybody out there know the truth?
