There wasn't a lot of humidity, just haze.

They were not at the center point yet and number 6 had to slow down just a tad to be perfectly aligned with number 5.

When they land from the west and stop at the eastern end of the runway there is a ceremony in which kids (spectators) are allowed to stand on a frontage road and wave to the pilots. The pilots often wave back. I wonder if I had shot this at f11 or higher would the depth of field changed to...

There just wasn't enough humidity to create a strong vapor effect. Bummer.

Friday morning, 17 August. The Blue Angels practiced with two two-seater aircraft in the mix. The aircraft in the #2 position and the Lead Solo, aircraft #5, were the two seaters. Here we see the Lead Solo doing the Sneak Pass. There just wasn't a lot of humidity and very little vapor...

I'm learning Photoshop. This is cropped and I took out some birds and large dragonflies that were between me and the condensation cloud. So, what looked like dirt with small wings might be gone.
