Good joystick for MS FS2004? by
Andrei Dumitrescu
Hi folks,
To my greatest surprise, my girlfriend got me the Flight Simulator
2004 for Christmas. Though I didn't touch one for years, I've always
loved flight sims and was eager to try out this one - only to find out
that it's a real downer with only the keyboard and mouse. I'm looking
now for a...

Panels for the Parhelia (formerly "Not much here") by
Warren
Quilljar
As promised I have prepared a webpage illustrating the two routes for 2D
panels using the Parhelia - Please note that both require some work on
them. Where a Virtual cockpit is supplied with the aircraft, then that
is the preferred route: but this can be difficult in phases of flying
such...

Flightgear really this slow on XP? by
[email protected]
Don't tell me to install Linux. I know that. It's currently not an
option.
I downloaded and installed FG on a fairly capable XP system (1.6ghz AMD
256 RAM and a good video card) and was blown away by the frame rate.
Like
one second per frame even in the lower resolution modes?
I shut down all the...

Fs2002 VASI lights.. by
PuttPutt
Having flown to an island etc at night I find I cannot locate the
airstrip due to no VASI or runway lights.
Is there any way of adding them to the existing scenery??
Switching to daylight seems a bit of a cheat :0(

A friend and I are having difficulty connecting to each other in multiplayer
in Falcon 4.
We both have the same build of the software (unpatched).
He is connected to the internet directly, I am trying to connect using a

Both of us are...

ADD: London Control - new ATC simulator by
ShelleyM
I don't know if adds are allowed so please forgive me.
London Control is an air traffic control simulation system for the personal
computer. It is an authentic, highly realistic simulation of the actual ATC
sytem over England and Wales. It delivers a level of sophistication not
seen before in a...

FS2004, Worth the Price? by
Jaybee727
I'm more of a geography buff than an aviation ace so I get more enjoyment out
of the scenery realism than the different types of aircraft I may be flying. In
your opinion, are the scenery enhancements in FS2004 worth plunking down
another 50 bucks to stay current with the state of the art? I'm...

Is FS2004 any better by
AgentXXX
Hi all,
Now that FS2004 has been out a while now can any users out there tell me if
it's significantly better than 2002.
I have read about what other features it has now but is it graphically any
better.
I appreciate the spec of your pc will have a big part as to the sim's
performance.
Thanks.

Is there some way to stop the Radeon 9600 freeze-ups in FS2004? by
Worrybird
As a newcomer to the Radeon club, I have a strong urge to drop kick it back
to the store. I would be overwhelmingly happy if the screen flickering was
all that was wrong with it... I envy you guys.
This thing freezes in FS2004. It freezes if you put up the frame rate
counter. It freezes in 30...

FS2002, Real world weather problem by
John431
I have been down loading real world weather. But, it doesn't match the
actual weather as determined from tuning in the FAA automatic weather
stations on the Internet. http://www1.faa.gov/asos/map/map.htm. I've
compared it by listening to the ATIS at the airport of FS2002 and comparing
it with...

Elite simulation software by
Marco Rispoli
I have FS2004 but for some reason I think the physics are a bit off... I
don't know if FS2004 cuts it as far as realism goes.
so I started looking around for other simulators and I found the Elite
Simulation software.
Anyone uses the Elite ?
How realistic is it and how useful could it be as and...
