The following utility called F1 View has just been mentioned on another NG.
It allows you to use the mouse wheel to zoom and pan inside the Virtual
cockpit and in spot/tower etc view within FS2004. If you cannot afford
Active Camera, this one is free and highly...

Re waste of money by
lofty
Hi,
That should read no waste of money. The A/C I downloaded that I thought
were faulty was a big mistake on my part and the manufacturers were in no
way at fault.
They contacted me and pointed out where I was going wrong and I have since
installed the A/C correctly.
I hope they have...

Localizer problem by
Bob Curtin
Hi Guys,
Newbie here. When I'm flying under IFR and ATC vectors me to the localizer,
I can't seem to pick it up. I'm flying the Baron 58. Is there some sort of
setting I need to make to receive the localizer beacon?

Engine throttle by
Bob Ingraham
I'm a new X-Planer, and I've been having a lot of fun flying various
aircraft from Spitfires to 747's to and from Vancouver International
Airport. I'm now able to land more or less safely most of the time
(depending on the aircraft), but I often have trouble stopping the
aircraft after landing....

Saitek X-45 question by
wan2fly99
Tried the throttle at a computer store.
I fiound the movement of the throttle to be extremely stiff.
Had to hold down the unit to move it.
Is there somewhere where you can loosen the
tension on it?
How do you like them?

Just got a Nvidia GT6800 video card.
Is it better to have anti-aliasing on the video card enabled or should I
enable it in FS9?

FS2002 problems - Radeon 9700 by
Ross Edmondson
My machine is a 2.8Ghz P4, 1 gig ram, ATI motherboard and Saphire ATI
Radeon 9700 pro graphics card. Running flight sim 2002 with all
sliders maxed, the graphics are worse (blockier with less colour
gradients) than on my old geforce2. Can anyone suggest where to start
looking?
Thanks, Ross

In 1924, before Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Erhardt etched their

authored one of the most daring and defining feats in aviation

FLCS+TQS Digital Upgrade by
Wild Weasel
Hi all,
I´ve got a question concerning the digital upgrade of this HOTAS-system.
Does anyone have experience with this upgrade?
Also, where can I buy the upgrade (besides in the US).
(I live in Belgium)
The cost of transportation is almost as much as the upgrade itself :-(
Thanks in advance,

What to do with my Elite pedals? by
Aake
Hi all,
I own a Thrustmaster Attack throttle, combined with a joystick (Top Gun?)
and Elite rudder pedals. The joystick plugs into the rudders which plugs
into the throttle. This combo worked fine with my old computer, but now I've
upgraded to a new computer and run into some problems.
