Seeking News of Pensacola Navy Museum by
BuZzY
Anyone know if the Naval Museum has made it through hurricane Ivan-?
It's one of my favorite vacation destinations--I'm worried about its
survival. Irreplaceable aircraft.
I tried to call this AM; got only a "trouble signal"--anyone have any info-?
Thanks
Buzzy

LAPES onto a CVN? by
Henry J Cobb
Has anybody been insane enough to rig a LAPES load with a hook so it can
catch an arresting wire on a carrier from a low flying C-130?

BRAC by
Jim
Attended a nice airshow at the Barnes ANGB, Westfield Mass yesterday.
Had the chance to speak with a Lt Col alongside his Otis based F-15A.
I was aware BRAC voted to close the Otis ANGB but hadn't spotted a thing
about who would be picking up that tasking. To my surprise he replied
they were...

Command livery). Could not get close enough for a detailed look. My
eyes are not that good anymore and I was driving. :-)
Didn't have a camera or I'd have gotten a shot or two. VEYR NICE,
though.
Anyone know anything about...
