HID Lamps; Your opinions and experience by
[email protected]
As I get older, and I find myself needing more and more light as the
lenses in my eye darken, I have noticed a definite need for more light
on night landings. My eye doc has recommended waiting a while on the
cataract surgery, as they are not so bad yet. Given that, I think
having a better view of...

ECI Titan Cylinders for Lycoming by
Mark T. Mueller
Anyone running the Titans? How have they been running? Any problems?
I did hear some hearsay that they ran cooler than Lyc's on an overhauled
360. Any word on this?
TIA

STOL Cub by
Newps
For those interested in an experimental Cub with leading edge slats look
at this short report. I've seen this plane fly up close and it has to
be seen to be believed.

Engine swap..... maybe a stupid question by
JD Butler
Totally aside from the technical/mechanical side of things.......
Once a certified airplane has had the engine removed and swapped out
with a Mazda rotary engine and aftermarket reducer drive, what steps are
nessary to fly without the FAA crawling up my butt?
I'm sure a regular A&P would run like...

Special prop to increase manifold pressure by
Fly
Hi Folks!
Was there ever a prop modified with a trailing edge bump for the purpose of
increasing MP at the ram air inlet?
Faint memory is maybe Lopresti marketed a Hartzerll with a trailing edge
tab.
Thanks

Garmin 530 "101" by
Douglas Paterson
I'm sure folks here have run through the various permutations, thought I'd
avoid re-inventing the wheel by asking. My new baby (TB-20, if you missed
my other thread--we're very happy together!) has a Garmin GNS-530 w/ a
GTX-330 transponder providing TIS traffic, and I have a few questions about...

Honeywell want a lot of money for a whole new switch. Would anyone
know who makes this switch? It looks like a standard pushbutton
switch, with a button about 9mm...

APF: Naples, FL - Hangar over New Year by
Nathan Young
I am headed to APF 12/28 to 1/3. Last year, I tied down outside and
survived a few thunderstorms. I am looking for hangar space this
year, and am wondering if anyone has a hangar I could rent for a week
for a Cherokee 180?
Thanks,
-Nathan

Oshkosh '06 Coffee Cup by
RST Engineering
I have an unbroken string of dated Oshkosh coffee cups (mugs) going back to
1974. I would be very happy to send somebody Paypal money to pick up and
send me one from this year's show. I believe that the EAA Warehouse store
will pack for shipment and there is a post office on the field if that...

Cannulas for a two year old? by
Chris Kennedy
We've capitulated and have decided to add O2 to our Collection Of Stuff
(it's tough to file IFR over Northeastern California and the Great Basin
without it) and are trying to figure out what to do when it comes to our
two year old. He's nuts about flying and generally accepting of wearing

Air-Oil Separators by
[email protected]
I am considering installing an air-oil separator in my 172H (Cont
O-300d). I have spoken with Airwolf who say theirs will work well and
is ALMOST STC'd but they "will provide the required paperwork to make
it legal until the STC comes thru" (whatever that means).
I also spoke with Aircraft Spruce...
