Bonny Doon ? by
Road Dog
Does anyone know anything about Bonny Doon private airport (C77) ?
I'd like to land there to pick up a friend, and am happy
to sign any waiver but haven't been able to reach anyone
by phone to see if that's ok. Has anyone done this ?
Do you just land and go to the office ?
Thanks

Well, are you? Why did you cross-post, and
then author posts in other groups tonight,
claiming that I am "toast", all the while making
accusations about my usenet activity? You
went to religious groups and writers groups
too? What's up with that?
Tell us now.

How can the Magnus effect be explained with Bernoulli? by
Mikki
Hi folks,
According to Bernoulli’s principle, an increase of speed will be
accompanied by a decrease in static pressure. However, Bernoulli’s law
only pertains to flows without any external energy being added (or
removed).
That’s why I do not understand why Bernoulli can be used to explain
the...

Sedona by

I need the wisdom of someone with experience flying to Sedona. We were
planning on going there tomorrow, but they're predicting thunderstorms
for the next three days so we're considering calling the whole thing
off. Am I being paranoid? I'm IFR rated, 700 hours, in an SR22 with a

In a piaggio avanti! by

I recently found myself sitting behind the controls
in one of these:

Too bad we were sitting on the tarmac, not moving.
Heh! I asked the captain, "I bet you typically cruise
this thing about 32K feet?" He smiled and...
