the yellow pages that's close to a particular location. But I've
noticed the database in these tools always lacks listings of GA
airports. They only store large airports. I often have to reference
the airport facility directory...

Robert M. Gary
I just got the following email from MBNA ....
"You have a new e-Bill from Bank of America Credit Card - Aircraft
Owners and Pilots Ass : "
I think I'll pay off my $25 balance and cut the thing up. Right now,
USAA seems to have the best rebate on gas. I'm getting 5%.

Embarrasing Flight by
David B. Cole
Yesterday a coworker and I decided to fly out to Lancaster PA to their
pilot shop because he wanted to look at purchasing a transceiver. This
was our first time flying together, but we did do the ATOP course at
Continental as a team. We decided that we would rent a plane from my
FBO and that we...

Emergency by

It was the 3rd leg of an Angel Flight and I wasn't even supposed to be
flying it. I'd already flown the second leg from Natchez, MS to
Monroeville, AL, but the 3rd leg pilot had mysteriously failed to show--no
call, no nothin'. It was late, I was tired and I was mad. I had two pax
aboard.

Emergency airports by
Paul kgyy
After hurricanes and earthquakes, it appears that often the airports
become operable before highways and railroads for emergency supplies.
It seems to me that a reasonable (required?) part of ANY community
planning for emergencies in areas subject to these kinds of disasters
should be thoughtful...
