Way to go Muhammed!

I remain extremely skeptical that the thing flys until I see a picture
or video of it in the air.

How to hover by
Wannafly
Hello, what are the control inputs required in a hover in an ideal
situation, what I am trying to figure out is what are you doing in a
no-wind situation to hover.
I have read several articles and books about helicopter flying and I am
still a little confused as to what you have to do, from what I...

Building a Gyrobee by
TM
Greetings, all.
I am new to this group, but I have been studying Gyros for a few years.
I've decided on building a Gyrobee. I'd love to build one from
scratch, doing my own cutting and drilling, not for the cost savings
but just because I'm an engineer at heart and love to build things.
The only...

Expired helicopter parts. by
John
Recently I was watching "Monster Garage". The challenge on this
episode (37) was for the team to build a very fast car out of a jet
boat. During the build one of the team members spent six dollars and
some change for an expired helicopter piece. Since the part had been
expired it was apparently...

First flight in R-22... by
Filip Zawadiak
.... and I still can't stop smiling :-))
Flying helicopter is soo different from an airplane, it really felt
like flying magic carpet :-) And it's so nice to watch grass waves
around :-) In airplane you get from ground so fast it's hard to notice
how nice view you can have from so low...

Any UH-1 owners in here? by

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone that knows about owning a UH-1 would be
willing to talk to me about it (off list if you want, or on
list..maybe others would be interested).
I have a bunch of questions regarding a future purchase. Things like
where the type certificate comes from, and are there...

Quick Response Ambulance by
Ralph @ G-Squadron
Anyone think the idea of using an autogyro as a quick-response ambulance
service is good? Wouldn't actually transport patients, but would act like
the quick response car or bike, delivering emergency help, and looking after
patients until land ambulance arrives.
I'm going to see how far I can...

More Questions about coning forces & rotor noise!! by
Eric D
If you start a descent from cruse by reducing pitch and maintaining
rotor speed, what happens to coning forces as compared to cruse?
I have noticed that during a decent in a R22 that you can get a
"Wop-Wop" noise from the main rotor blades. Changing cyclic or
increasing rotor speed a very small...

FAA to End part 91 Sightseeing flights? by

The below is from AOPA:
FAA PROPOSAL WOULD SQUEEZE CHARITY FLIGHTS, SIGHTSEEING OPS
An FAA notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) published this week would
likely shrink the pool of pilots able to help local charities with
fundraising flights and, by the FAA's own admission, drive hundreds
of small...

CECO Vs. Bendix Fuel Controls by
Mike Th...
Does anyone know the benefits of either a CECO fuel control versus a Bendix
fuel control on the Rolls Royce 250 Series? Aside from the fact that one
works off of air pressure and the other off of fuel pressure is one better
than another?
