I don't care what harrison Ford says by
Tony Ryan
Beavers are obsolete and at best potential beer cans.
I watched a DC-3 loose a wing in '87...Isn't it time to draw a line on what
should fly instead of what can fly?
While it is relatively easy to make an intelligent person appear ignorant,
it is impossible to feign intelligence.

aircraft, with regard to the lighting and sounds:
Do the Exit signs light up? Or are they always lit up during a flight?
Do the main cieling lights remain on?
Do the passenger lights (above the seats) remain on?

Flying Cloud FBO ? by
Zack Sten
I am going to be in Minneapolis for three days in the middle of April.
I'd like to rent a 172 out of Flying Cloud (FCM) while in the area. I
see that there a number of FBOs at that airport that do rentals.
So......any recommendations (good or otherwise) from this knowledgeable
group?

Soft-field landing in C172 by
Magnus
Just curious how you guys perform this maneuver. From what I've been
taught you should flare with a little power still in to soften the
touchdown, and then keep rolling to avoid digging yourself into the
runway surface.
I just think that it should be possible to land anyway, without any
power like...
