If the VOR is off by 30 degrees, is the adjustment in the indicator or the

Epic LT by
Flyingmonk
Anyone else read the ariticle/seen the pictures on the Epic LT in Pilot
Magazine? That is one SEXY machine. It is made by AIR, LLC. I think
AIR stands for Aviation Investment and Research or something like that.
When my ship comes in, I'm gonna get me something like that, if not
that.
Wow, just...

GPS Techniques by
Kobra
Flyers,
I am parting with my the new Sporty's Air Facts DVD - GPS Techniques on
eBay. Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/3c6rpv
It up for $5.00.
I just bought it and enjoyed watching it and it indeed had some useful info.
It discusses the 530, 430 and talks about the 396. It has two Air...

Airtex Interior Refurbishment - Day 53 by
Mike Spera
Day 53 (Final Big Box and End of the Road in Sight!)
Well, the final shipment has arrived! Along with it, the bill. Total was
$2771 plus another $70 for shipping all 3 boxes. Again I was struck by
the dramatic comparison between the new and old wall panels. I cannot
believe we tolerated the old...

Oil leaks? by
John Doe
Looks like my mechanic just found a small crack in the bottom of my
oil pan
I had noticed a small amount of oil on the belly, around the front
gear well, and a small bit coming out the top of the cowling at the
oil access door that normally wasn't there.
Had him pull the cowling off and after a...

Concorde - join the campaign by
Jim Carter
Am I mistaken? I thought I saw a news-magazine segment on the Concorde
that indicated it usually was fairly well booked. I believe the story
line was that the seating capacity was insufficient for fuel and
maintenance when we had to start paying more than 27 cents a gallon.

747 Lawnmower ?..............Yes, this is real, a flying Lawnmower by
Hansi
If you up there in the Cockpit, look out of the window and see an
Lawnmower, don't be alerted, you are not crazy. They now have flying
Lawnmowers. The same group of Hobby-ingenieurs also developed a flying
doghouse and working on a flying Washmachine and a flying...

I guess Garmin really does listen to us.... Got our 396 yesterday...
What a sweet piece of equipment by the way... I thought I would remove
the magnets in the GX30 antenna so I wouldn't have to mess with the
Whiskey compass getting spatially disoriented... I found the
instructions for removing...

Does anyone know of detector available for small aircraft (not transport

I did the Google search for previous discussions,

just have it done. My A&P lacks...
