Hello all,
Our old panel mounted (yes very old) Apollo 820 GPS by IIMorrow
appears to have kicked the can. When turned on it goes through it's
usual sequence but eventually emits a red warning along with the
message "GPS unable to compute position". There appears to be
reception of satellites...

for the world famous Dayton Hamfest... My son and my old buddy Ed
went with me... Took 1:45 going down in the early morning darkness,
where the dawn is just a band of bluish light on the horizon... Smooth

Just to finish this thread, the fix for the bridle cable wraps slipping
around the aileron servo capstan was relatively simple. There is a recessed
set screw in the front face of the capstan holding the bridle cable locking
pin. The mechanic backed out the set screw with a .050 allen wrench,...
