Beer (was Worst Jokes At Oshkosh) by
Dylan Smith
In article , Anthony wrote:
Now for a Brit joke. Why do Brits drink warm beer? Lucas refrigerators.
Seriously, it's because the beer actually tastes of something (all you
get with ice cold lager is the taste of the CO2 and alcohol and not much
else)....

Beer Served to Pilots in Iowa -- All Survive! by
Jay Honeck
Normally I wouldn't post about our own party, but since no one in attendance
will be able to post until after Oshkosh, I thought I might post a little
round up for those who couldn't make it:
a) Many beers were served. In fact, we had to buy more beer mid-way through
the evening. No injuries...

Beer, "God had told him to crash the airplane," and other odd tales. by
Jim Logajan
Beer makes for some unusual tales - at least that is what I found when I
used that single keyword in a search of the NTSB accident database - though
I expanded the search back to 1-1-1962 which yielded some of the more, um,
interesting tales. 68 records contain the word "beer" - yet no matches...

Beginning Flying Questions by
[email protected]
Is there a FAQ that covers all beginning questions?
I need one answer that will require someone just being honest with me.
I am 6 foot and weigh about 260 pounds. I play raquetball and tennis
weekly and coach two softball teams so I am not worried about the
physical aspects but wonder if a cessna...

Beginning IFR book? by
John T
Any suggestions for a book on the beginning IFR student? My wife wants
some Xmas gift ideas under $50 (and I could really use a new cordless
drill or other tools at $200 or more...;) )
I'm not sure if I'll go after the IFR rating, but I'd like to learn
about it for sure.
Preferably something from...

Behold! The new Piper LSA! by
vaughn[_2_]
OK, so it's really nothing new, it's just a rebadged SportCruiser made by Czech
Sport Aircraft. With its Rotax 912, it has a full 600 # payload, a clear
advantage over Cessna's offering. That means that it will not only be capable
of carrying a student, but you can have an instructor too, as...

Below sea level by
Hilton
Hi,
How is standard temperature and pressure defined below sea level? How does
DA increase/decrease below sea level? I know that the gravitation force
starts decreasing in a *linear* fashion below sea level, but how that affect
the temp, pressure, and DA is beyond me. Any books, or URLs that...
