IS-28 Fuselage Construction by smjmitchell
Hi All, Can onyone tell me if the skins on the forward fuselage of an IS-28 are flat wrapped or compound curved (i.e. stretch formed). In other words would it be easy to rebuild the forward fuselage using sheet stock or would it be necessary to buy the preformed skins. Thanks,

Why fly only seated? by Gill Couto
I want to ask you folks a question: why isn't there a glider where the pilot flies face-down? The Wrights did it, the Horten (?) wing, and hang gliders are about the only thing you can fly facing the earth. I don't see why a sailplane couldn't be flown that way, but no designers appear to even...

With all this talk about plasma rope, etc. and the need for guillotines, etc. I got to wondering how many times had winch guillotines been operated in a real emergency. Certainly people have tested them, but if you know of a case where the winch driver had to cut a glider loose, let us know here...

Someone, somewhere said to go to Menu / Comm port, but I can only get a menu in WinPilot Simulator, and...

PEZ's first glider ride by John Shelton
In a rare mid-week paste-up to the Avenal site www.soaravenal.com Pez goes out on his first glider ride. Any similarity between any people, places and events is purely coincidental and I don't have any money anyway so don't sue me.
