3 1/8 inch compass by
Steve Beaver
Anyone aware of a source for a 3 1/8 inch panel mount compass? This is for a
vintage restoration in which the usual 2 1/4 inch Airpath looks out of
place.
Thanks
Steve

3 1/8" instrument template by
[email protected]
Hello,
I'm looking for a template for a 3 1/8" instrument. I know the aircraft
spruce catalog used to have a page with templates, but my current catalog
(2006) doesn't seem to have this page.
What I'm looking for is a to-scale drawing of the hole needed to cut and
the location of the mounting...

3 blade prop position on 6cyl engine. by
Paul Lee
Whats the best 3 blade prop position on a 6 Cyl Franklin?
The Ivo prop instructions only give an example for a 4 cyl
IO-360 to place one blade on TDC position. That's where
I placed it for the 6 cyl Franklin for now.

Mr.Twistair
For those who are interested in more-than-two-place gyroplanes: I've put
some videofiles of The Hunter

They are available at http://twistairclub.narod.ru/rotorstab.htm
Comments, inputs etc are greatly appreciated.

3.8 liter V6 Ford PSRU model year compatibility by
James W Brackett
I am currently running a 1986 v6 with a Northwest Aero PSRU.
I was wondering when or if Ford changed the bolt hole pattern
on bell housing. I have a 2001 mustang with the 3.8 and would
like to maybe step up to fuel injection and the balanced intake.

360 Comm by
Tri-Pacer
Does anyone have an old 360 Comm they'd let go cheap?
I'd like to get a transistorized one that I could run with a 12VDC wall
wart.
My hangar is in a row perpendicular to the runway. I'm about in the center.
That means I stop what I'm doing about every 10 minutes and go to the end of
the row to...

36HP VW Engine by
Claton Cadmus
I have a 1959 36HP VW engine and would like information and opinions
on converting this for use in a small single place homebuilt. Also
can anyone tell me or point me to a source of this engines HP and,
more importantly, torque vs RPM curve.
Thanks Claton

37 degree fitting by
Ernest Christley
The most recent Sport Aviation has an article on make up hoses. The
author states that 'you must use 37 degree fittings' and as is typical,
gives no reason why. Is there a reason for this that involves the laws
of nature, vs the "laws of the FAA"?

37 degree flare, 1/8" stainless by
Richard Riley
I need to make a dozen 37 degree flares in 1/8 stanless line for a
brake system. My flaring tool only goes to 3/16. Spruce has the
"Rolo-flare" tool that goes to 1/8" for $80 or so, but they say it's
not for use with stainless. OTOH, the other vendors that carry the
Rolo-flare don't say anything...

37 Degree Single vs Double Flared Tubing by
Craig Foster
Do aluminum fuel lines need to be double flared (37 degree flaring)? A 37
degree double flaring tool is very expensive compare to the single flare
type. I ran across this in a Car Craft magazine article:
"Most tubing in the aircraft industry is extruded in one piece with no seam,
so double...
