Parts help.. Exhaust Augmentor inserts by
Dave S
Ok.. this may be more appropriate in homebuilt because its going on an
experimental, but I wanted to pick owners brains regarding a certified
part I want to utilize.
I got a good look at a friend's twin bonanza the other day, and really
liked the exhaust augmentation that it uses to pull air...

Glue and nails by
Mike[_19_]
I'm in the process of rebuilding a wooden aileron spar. The process
involves gluing and nailing 2"x3"x1/16" reinforcing patches to the
spar. I plan on applied glue and clamped the patches in place; when
dry, putting in the nails. What are the nails doing for me and is
hammering in nails after the...

C-182 Seats by
R.T.
Good day all,
I have a 67 C-182. Since I purchased the plane this summer the pilots seat
seemed to recline to far back. After some investigation it appeared as
though someone had replaced the Pawls that lock the seat in position with
the incorrect ones. The ones installed were from a 172 so I...

Something else by
Denny
Saturday we took Fat Albert and flew from mid michigan to Dayton, Ohio
for the world famous Dayton Hamfest... My son and my old buddy Ed
went with me... Took 1:45 going down in the early morning darkness,
where the dawn is just a band of bluish light on the horizon... Smooth
air... But 30 Knots...

This Years Annual, Not bad at all! by
NW_Pilot
Given that I only put 35 hours on my 150 this year and a very extensive
annual last year and the year prior. My Cessna 150 had only the usual things
that needed to be done, complied with recurring AD's Replaced a few cowl
fastener receptacles & general maintenance like airfilter etc....

Stromberg Parts by
Tri-Pacer
I am in need of a spring P8770 part of the mixture control for a Stromberg
Carb.
Can anyone give me a lead? My best bet was El Reno but they say it's made of
unobtainium.
Thanks

Autopilot PIREPS by
pgbnh
My partner and I have decided it is time to upgrade the old 'wing-leveller'
autopilot (Century I) to a real autopilot. We will likely be looking for
either 2 or 3 axis (altitude would be nice, but we need to factor in cost)
and will couple it to the Garmin 530. AP to be installed in a Beech...

As previously posted, electric trim switch dismantled, slightly
modified, and repaired. Worked fine on the ground. Test flight today
-- nothing. Works forward, not backward, just as...

Power port by

Would anyone know (and care to tell me) where to find the power ports
found these days on airliners? I'd like to replace the cigarette
lighter socket in my Skylane with one of those.
Thanks.

Charter Quest Team? by
Juan Jimenez
Has anyone here heard of something called the "Charter Quest Team" from the
FAA? Does anyone know who runs it? What FARs, AC or other document regulate
its activities?

DRVSM by
Roger Long
I see on AOPA's web site that the FAA has blown off AOPA and all the other
industry groups on DRVSM implementation. Does not getting your biz jet or
turboprop outfitted with this equipment mean you won't be able to fly it
above FL 290 or only at the new intermediate levels?

WTB a TRT250 by

Honest to gosh. I want to buy a TRT250 (the pushbutton transponder).
Working condition not important.
Reason - I want a second so that I can use them as a matched pair
of wheel chocks - really.
