I'm building an all wood airplane. The skin is 1/32, 1/16 & 1/8 plywood. Do the scarf joints that are required to join the plywood together need to fall on the underlying structure or can they be located where the plywood spans the structural members? Thanks! David

I have noticed that a lot of panels look as though the gyros are not shock mounted. They appear to be mounted directly on a fixed panel. Is it advisable to shock mount them? I'm getting ready to start building my panel and need some advice. Thanks! David
