Best tug for a 3000lb SEP? by
Brian Whatcott
Hmmm...Peter the Anonymous received some experienced advice -

There IS a difference between a hydraulic drive garden tractor and a
tractor, which perhaps Peter is not grasping. In turn, I...

AeroScooter? by
GEG
Has anyone seen that AeroScooter?
http://www.airscooter.com/
Kind of an interesting idea.
So - they oversimplify the web site.
"No license is required to fly . . . because it weighs less than 300
pounds . . ."
But, it seems as though there are a few other restrictions than that!
It looks kind of...

Mandatory 100hr checks - when? Also Dry Lease by
Michael
It's always been believed that if an aircraft (US registered) is
rented out, a 100hr check is required.
People believe all sorts of things that aren't true, including this.
I am now trying to find a reference to this in the FARs.
You will be looking a long time.
The above text doesn't...

Scattering Ashes by

I have a co-worker who's father just passed away. He'd like his ashes
scattered over his home town. I've read a few horror stories in
flying magazine. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have a
Mooney and am a little concerned about stuff getting blown back in, or
all over the wings. ...
