Caution - InterAv "Spike Guard" Capacitor by
Aaron Coolidge
snip
: Inter-Av claims very few failures of this capacitor... but I'm wondering.
: Unless you physically shake the can, you won't know if the electrolyte
: evaporated. (That means you have to take it out of the Adel clamp... which is
: probably never done during inspection.) While a firewall...

Extra Headset recommendations? by
Mike Z.
I have DCs for the front seats and 1- lightspeed QFR Solo for the back. Lightweight, quiet and non vice-like. I am considering a
second pair for the other side at about $125.

Future Turbine Aircraft by
Mike Schumann
Retrofitting diesels on existing airplanes doesn't make much sense in the
US, where the fuel cost differences between 100LL and Jet-A are relatively
small. However, using diesels on new airplanes makes a lot of sense. If
you look at the price of a Diamond plane in Europe, the diesel version...

Online source for POH by
Jim
I'm looking for a good online source for POH's for my students. I want them
to purchase a POH for the plane they fly so they have their own copy. Any
leads, links or help is appreciated. Google doesn't give me many leads.

How 'bout a Cirrus SR20 or SR22? Apparently they're Part 135 ready

listen, or if in contact with Razorback Approach, to 120.9. If you hear

Cessna 150 Cruising by
Anony Mouse
I had a combined CHT/EGT installed recently.
A poster (MichaelR) suggested to go full throttle.
My advice: Don't do that.
Your CHT will be to high, you'll set yourself
up for frequent cylinder overhauls.

to 2600. The CHT will be around 380 F,...
