Adjustable prop experience? by
Richard Lamb
Well, I have a Fred Serba 68 x 68 which is probably a reasonable
compromise between climb and cruise. Not very heavy either.
But to really get her going fast, more pitch drill sergent!

RV trailing edge radius is... by

RV-3 flaps and ailerons: 3/32". Arrow on the dimension points to

Lowest cost per mile flown motor- 2 stroke by
Bruce A. Frank
In theory the lead provides lubrication, but in application it causes
sticking and burned valves from un-even deposits on the sealing surfaces
of the valve and seat. Now if you have rotators on the valves there
might be a different story. With the materials used in valves and valve
seats, even ...

Pitts Screw Question by
VTflyer
I was planning on purchasing the Aircraft Spruce S2A hardware kit for an
S1C. I wanted to check and see if the sheet metal on the S2A is held
together with 10-32 screws as it is on my aircraft, a quick yes or no would
be all I need.
Thanks!

Brake line design question by
Charlie Smith
Jeff,
You may wish to consider Parker Parflex nylon hose. It is available in
several wall thickness at 1/4 inch OD. The hose is UV stabilized so there
is little worry about it becoming brittle after a few years of exposure to
light (you could always paint over it). Minimum purchase lengths for...

Volksplane in New Zealand? by

You might want to also check out gyroplanes. NZ has a new one
that is top of the line. There's a few good websites about them:

Transponders, Radios and other avionics procurement questions by
Corky Scott
I'm at the point where I need to start collecting instruments so I can
build the instrument panel.
As always, I'm a bit shocked at the prices new or reconditioned
instruments cost: The typical panel mount radio goes for around $900
to $1300 depending on how much power and features you want. ...

It has been done. Bayard DuPont did it on the rear engine in his Defiant

flight spinning the fans...

Sonerai Alternator Regulator/Rectifier by
Pete
You could also try the 'regulator' from your rotax dealer for the 912 -
altho it's truly overpriced for the crude job it does.
I'd think that an automotive regulator would be the best choice also, if
they can indeed handle the crude output waveforms.
Cheers,
Pete

Yes, but you need to go real fast. Just over 200KIAS will get you a
