What's Your Favorite Hand Rivet Squeezer? by
Larry Smith
I used US Industrial Tool and Supply's hand squeezer to repair trailing
edges and add pma'd bulb on two '56 Cessna flaps. They turned out nicely
and two A&P's liked them, but the squeezer was hard to use with 1/8"
diameter 2117 rivets.
Avery and Tatco sell nice hand squeezers. Avery is better...

what is this mystery pratt and whitney tool? by
Bill Noble
I originally posted this in the metal working newsgroup, some folks there
thought the part might be recobnized by somone here - so, it's worth a try -
any clues?
thanks:
I think this is probably quite old, but so far I have no idea what it is (or
was part of) - there is another like it that...

HKS 700E Engine Reviews? by
acepilot
Is anybody on the list using the two cylinder (4-stroke) HKS 700E
engine? It's about the perfect size for an upcoming project (Georgias
Special) and I'm wondering about its reliability, toughness, etc.
compared to say a 1/2 or full VW. The original Georgias used 28 HP, so
a 1/2 VW would work and...

This is the Man Who Raised me by
Badwater Bill
There was a tragic incident in our family six days ago. My father who
was suffering from diabetes, palsy, lower back disk dehydration and
depression decided to end his life. He was scheduled for a hip
replacement operation on Monday. We all were planning a big party for
his 80th birthday which...

Backlit panel by
cavelamb[_2_]
I remember Linda Rice's Lockheed had a really cool backlit panel overlay.
The panel itself was heavy aluminum sheet, but then they added a plastic
overlay that had an opaque cover. Legends and labeling was done by
engraving the opaque layer.
On the back side of the there were little cavities...

the word I have is that a permit in UT appears be accepted in all
other states that allow concealed carry.
Looks like UT accepts others, but not vice versa.

Anyone know a good way to make a belly baggage pod? by
Tedstriker
My Jurca Sirocco has so little baggage space, that it really needs
some extra room. I'd like to make a bomb-shaped belly pod, and have
seen some made on other homebuilts. I've heard of some of the Pitt's
S-1 guys welding two spinners together, back to back, but that doesn't
have the look I want....

Lathe, drillpress, milling machine available, but..... by
Michael Horowitz
The local EAA chapter has a lathe, drillpress, milling machine, etc
set up in the back of the chapter house. As far as I can tell, the
lathe hasn't been used in a while. When I asked, someone rightly
replied they were concerned someone might hurt themselves using the
lathe. Having had some training...

Rotax 582 Tach Problem by
[email protected]
I've got about 200 hours on my Rotax 582 engine and was flying one day
when the tach quit. I bought a new Westach tach and installed it.
When I started the engine the tach seemed to work just fine but then
after a couple of minutes it quit. Thinking that I had a defective new
tach I sent it back...
