Pipistrel Kit Aircraft now FAA 51% Accepted by
Juan Jimenez
The NTSB has issued a decision on the case I mentioned here. The
administrative law judge had previously refused to revoke the part 135
certificates of the two operators and instead issued an indefinite
suspension. The FAA appealed and argued for a permanent revocation, the
respondents argued...

Microphone impedance conversion...help me Jim Weir! by
Scott VanHoveln
I need to know how to make a headset converter that allows me to use my
military (low impedance mic, single plug) headset in a GA airplane. The
plug pinouts I can probably figure out, but the mic impedance matching has
me stumped. Thanks all.

DIY antenna for handheld transceiver by
Brad Lewandowski
I'm going to try and make an antenna as shown in Kitplanes MAR 2006
("Rubber Duckie, Your'e the One..).
Does it matter if the copper foil is 1/4 or 1/2 inch wide?
Does the balun have to be right in the middle (if I want to put in
a PVC tube it wouldn't fit with a balun in the middle) or can...

Hi All,
I have incandescent lights in my homebuilt panel and LCD displayse in

RT-359A transponder question by
Lars
Anyone out there who knows the pinout of the rear connector of the ARC
RT-359A transponder? We just got an altitude encoder to go with the
unit (an ACK A-30) in hope for a little better reception from the ATC
when flying in controlled airspace...
The ACK installation manual is fine, giving the pin...

Need a source for a Fuel Sight Gauge. by
Ebby
I purchased the Stearman type sight gauge from Aircraft spruce and it's too
deep for my Hatz fuel tank. The company says it's not modifiable. So I am
looking for another source of this type of gauge. The depth of my tank is
about 4" at its deepest.
They might be saying the gauge can't be...

Ok, I ran into a little problem...
I'm laying out the rib design for a 1931 Georgias Special and it uses a
Clark Y-15 airfoil. The coordinates (stations if you will) for upper
and lower surfaces start at the leading edge and go back to the rear
edge. Chord is supposed to be 48". Adding up...

T-88 epoxy by
Lou
Ok, so you build a wooden airplane, and it actually flies. You park it
for the winter and the temp
gets down below zero, alot....
Does this hurt the T-88 epoxy glue? Would the constant below zero temp
to close to 100
each six months do any damage or weekness?
