Knowns Unlimited 2006 Glider by
AeroSign
Dear all,
I am trying to understand the "Known Unlimited 2006" glider sequence
from IAC.
First of all, what is the figure number 6? Just a loop with a 90 degree
exit?
Second, how is figure 9 flown? Is it one full roll during the first 90
degree on the 180 degree circle followed by a half roll on...

Legal to Rent Yak-52? by
W[_3_]
Is it legal for a sport or commercial pilot in the US to rent a Yak-52
aerobatic plane for unassisted flight cross country? I guess these can
only be certified currently for exhibition/airshow. Is that likely to
change given they are still manufactured in Romania?

Living with Technology by
quilljar
I've discovered a really interesting magazine about
technology generally - it covers all sorts of
different areas. That means that not all of it will be
interesting to everyone, but it's only 29 pounds
a year in the UK, and you can get them to send
you a couple of free sample copies by logging...

Manifold pressure gauge problem by
Dave Russell
The manifold pressure gauge in my Super D is a pain. More acurately,
it's the line that connects it to the engine. Ten minutes of
aerobatics, and I can't get any kind of reliable reading; it just
sticks wherever.
It's easy to fix. A shot of air into the line (back toward the
engine, of course)...

Misguided new policy at Palm Springs Air Museum by
Wings Of Fury
CAMERA BAGS ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED AT THE PSAM. Went down there today
to see the B-25 flight, and they would not let me in, period.
Backpacks are also not allowed. BUT they will continue to allow women
to bring in those bigass purses of theirs......something stinks.......
