ASG-29 versus Ventus 2CX by [email protected]
All things being equal (delivery time, price, etc.) which glider would you choose and why? Is there a performance difference, quality difference, ergonomics, etc.? The comparision should take into account 15 meter and 18 meter performance, strong weather and weak weather performance.

ASG-29 vrs V3 ... observations from WGC Benalla pilots. by [email protected]
OK, this is a real shot in the dark. To the ASG-29-18 and JS1-18 Benalla pilots who had a chance to thermal and run with the S-H V3s, how do they compare? A tip of the hat to Greiner; most impressive a 10-12 year old design is still scoring well.

ASG-29/ASW-27 wing refinish by [email protected]
I have heard that the new ASG-29 and many of the ASW-27's have had a noticeable spar cap shrinkage problem. I am looking for an unbiassed discussion of this problem, the extent of the problem and possible solutions (other than a wing refinish).

ASG-29E vs. JS-1Jet Sustainer by Gerry Simpson
I am very interested in purchasing one or the other and having difficulty weighing the merits each of because of no direct experience with either. I would like to have some advice concerning reliability, resale values, performance and build quality. Can I compare apples and apples with these two?

ASG-32 Mi rigging aid by [email protected]
Understand there is a new rigging aid created to help roll the ASG-32 Mi inner wing panels out of the trailer before the wing panel goes into a wing rigger. If you have a chance to witness this, please make a video of it operating and post it on YouTube. Anything to not be down with a bad back!

ASG29 Panel (small) layout ideas for ClearNav II installation by Sean Fidler
If anyone has any recent CAD or sketches of CNII instrument layouts in an ASG29 with the smaller panel size, I would be appreciative. Examples of completed installs are very welcomed as well. If I do this, I have not decided if I would do both varios (nav diplay or needle) or just one. I...

ASG29 questions... by Sean Fidler
2 things: 1) Does anyone have a detailed guide or notes on placement of turbulator tapes on the ASG29? 18 meter is the priority, 15 meter sections would be nice to have. I am also looking for an inventory list of what size, brand, type of seals and t tape to buy, etc. 2) Does anyone have an...

Asg29 very slow water dumping issue (20+ minutes and wings still halffull or more) by Sean[_2_]
This has been a problem since late this summer. Asymmetric and or slow dumping. After having the valves open today for (guessing) 20+ minutes (to be sure it was dry) I landed to find the wings with significant water (10-15 gallons a side) still on-board. Water flows thru the outboard panels so...

ASG32MI water ballast by Fassin Pierre
Hello, I am looking for some help concerning the water ballast in the TAIL of the ASG32. Don't know what happens but since some time now, it takes 45 minutes to fill or empty the 5 liters in the tail. It used to be 3 or 4 minutes... So, obviously, something blocks... I verified the cabling under...

ASH 25 artwork by Andy Melville
We are a small group in the UK who own an ASH25e which we are currently getting regelled(well 2 pack paint actually). As this obviously neccessitates rubbing off all the existing markings; we will have a wonderful opportunity to paint 'flashes' or whatever down the side instead of the normal...

ASH 25e takeoff distances by nimbusgb
I am considering the purchase of an ASH 25e. One of the concerns is our operating field. On some days a Nimbus 3t with 25.5 m tips things can be a little marginal if the ship is at max T/O weight. How does the ASH 25 compare if flown empty but 2 up? We are operating off a 'lush' grass field...
