Aviation Radio on Compact Flash Card? by
Will
Does anyone make an aviation radio that would plug into a Windows PDA or
tablet as a compact flash card, joined with a bluetooth wireless aviation
antenna? I imagine you could do some really nice things with the
interface in software.

Aviation song for US? by
Jürgen Exner
In German there are two songs which could be considered the anthem of
aviation:
The upbeat "Flieger, grüß mir die Sonne" ("Pilot, greetings to the sun")
from the movie "F. P. 1 antwortet nicht", 1932, sung by Hans Albers
(http://www.drachenflieger.org/media/flieger/index.htm)
And the more...

Aviation Songs revisited by
John T
You'll remember the thread on "US aviation song" awhile back, well this

Charlie Daniels, from his "Renegade" album:
Well us people at th airport like airplanes
We wear supercub hats
Its the plane factor
We like the FBO on a Friday...

Aviation themed restaurant? by
AJ
My rapidly crumbling memory tells me that someone on this group posted
a link to an aviation-themed restaurant recently. The place came
complete with hangars and WWII era aircraft on the runway outside.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about -- a rare occurence in itself --
would you please...

Aviation Through A Lens Part 2 by
Jay Beckman
I took the hint and have begun migrating images off Photosig and over to
pBase.
If you want, take a look at www.pbase.com/flyingphotog and tell me if you
get bigger, better images (and I hope, not a lot of crap to fight through.)
Thanks,
Jay B

Aviation Truths by
Dave Russell
1. Fresh bugs will come off, but old bugs are a part of your paint
scheme forever.
2. If you fly the airplane the same way you operate an elevator, then
you are an airplane driver and not a pilot.
3. The Wright brothers flew with a stick, not a steering wheel.
(*Please* don't tell me about the...

Aviation TV by
pilot451
Does anyone know of any more plans for a Discovery Wings-type channel?
It just seems like there would still be enough interest to support a TV
channel devoted just to flying. Thoughts?

Please! There's no excuse for using the "Top Gun"
soundtrack again.
Especially when you can use "Higher" by Creed:
