you, that's the reason why I leave this message.
I'm glad to present you :

Zoom for Free by
Quilljar
The following utility called F1 View has just been mentioned on another NG.
It allows you to use the mouse wheel to zoom and pan inside the Virtual
cockpit and in spot/tower etc view within FS2004. If you cannot afford
Active Camera, this one is free and highly...

Yukon Crater found! by
JasonSJbird
I was flight testing my brand new B-26 Marauder at 8000'-just above the
terrain, when I got fatigued and wanted to land. I saw a neat little runway
with an elevation curiously at 3800'. After not finding what I saw on my map, I
"stepped" into the thinning air outside my plane, and found that the...

Yaw Damper by
Arthur Alspector
When should the 'yaw damper' be deployed in the Boeing 737 and 777? I
didn't notice the button in the 747. I have used it flying the Cessna 182S
and it works well to stablize the yaw in a crosswind, but I haven't figured
out if it's required in the large aircraft, especially when the autopilot...

X-plane vs FS2004 by
[email protected]
I just came across a rave review of X-plane by Richard Collins, so was
curious how well it compares to FS2004 in terms of realism, anybody who
has used both? I have used FS2004 and its a pretty decent product and
fun to play with, but was wondering if X-plane is better.
thanks

x-plane under wine by
Tim Hogard
I've just tried x-plane under wine and it works well except for a few
issues.
1) joystick(s) won't work. I've got a logictech USB flightstick and
x-plane won't see it. The joystick works under linux as /dev/input/js0
as well as /dev/input/event0.
2) udp data output isn't going out.
I've turned...

x-plane installation by
George Graham
After reading the great article in EAA Mag about the X-Plane flight
simulator, I went online and bought a copy. I installed it and the
scenery disk per instructions, even logged into the online help and
downloaded the Cozy IV airplane. I can fly it from my home airport
(ksrq) in Florida. I have...

X-Plane in Popular Science Magazine by
Danay Westerlage
Did all X-Plane fans see the current issue of Popular Science Magazine
(the August issue)?
It's a flattering article, talking about Austin's work and style, and
compares features to MSFS.
Check it out.

X-Plane for aircraft design by
Ghazan Haider
Can X-plane be used to design aircraft?
I've been trying to design aircraft in it, but most of my designs just
crash immediately as it starts in a fraction of a second, even though
most of the details are pretty reasonable (if the engine horsepower is
0, it just sits there, if its 1, it crashes...

X-Plane any good ? by
Rotwang
I've just red about X-Plane, but I wanted more feedback on it.
I'm also looking for a simulator that allows you to fly a WWII JU88.
