Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump - Agusta helicopters by
Geoff
Hi
Is there anybody reading this group who has experience with
transporting a patient with an intra-aortic balloon pump in an Agusta
A109 or A119 helicopter? I am particularly interested the aircraft is
best loaded and the pump stowed.
I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks

Fast helicopters by
George Vranek
In the last weeks, there is a big silence in this NG regarding fast flying
helicopters. Please have a look at www.vranek.ch/diskrotor.htm and publish
your comments and questions if any in this NG.

SOLO flight rules by
Gig Giacona
You will have to be signed off by and instructor for that aircraft. Do you
already own a flyable Scorpion? You will most likely have to get back in the
R22 for your check ride.

Has anyone here been involved in the process of getting an OH-58 for a local

and not getting anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I'd done some reading about pre-rotators for gyroplanes which can be
used to give them a jump takeoff. I was wondering if any of them have

New models from Bell. by
Goku
I read in some publications about that Bell must be working on a replace for the
206 discarding the two blade rotor, but are speculations.
Also some people speculates about an Updated 430, as EC made with the BK117,
with a new composite body, new engines and a new quiet tail rotor.
And more, a...

It it possible to get into vortex ring state (or settling with power)

A friend at my radio control helicopter field claimed that you shouldn't
do a vertical autorotation, because you might enter vortex ring state
if you do.
This doesn't seem right to me based on my limited...
